We are all very familiar with the impacts Covid-19 has made on our lives. As we come back to some sort of normal, there are some things that have forever changed.
Here are some simple precautions for you to take when it comes to your dental visits and home care.
Please cancel your appointment if you are feeling unwell. Try to give us as much notice as you can, but we do understand that there are times you go to bed well and wake up sick. We do not charge for late cancellations when people are sick.
If ever you have needed motivation to take better care of your teeth, Covid-19 risk is it. A number of studies have shown that poor oral health may lead to worse outcomes with Covid-19 infection. Use your floss, Interdental brushes, water flosser regularly! Here is a link to one report about Covid outcomes if you want further reading.
Our commitments to you
Our stringent infection control protocols are always followed between every patient, and at the beginning and end of the day.
All staff are vaccinated for Covid-19.
We will wipe credit cards, health fund cards, pens and front desk surfaces with neutral detergent before and after every use.
Alcohol-based hand rub is available in the reception and clinic areas. We ask that you use it on entry to the clinic.
The waiting room has plenty of space to allow for safe distances to be observed. We always endeavour to run on time to prevent too many people being in the waiting room. People who live in the same household do not need to 'socially distance'.
Do not hesitate to ask any of the staff about your concerns related to Covid-19 or any of our infection control protocols.
We are here to support your health in every way.
Have just reunited with Rachel again now that she is back in the inner west. So lovely to catch up and as usual she was gentle, informative and very caring. Thanks again Rachel!
It is lovely to feel the care you take to ensure that everyone feels taken care of.
